Self-reclamation through
sensual movement
It’s not just yoga… its a slow, wild, and buttery yogish flow with 360° of movement freedom. And it’s not just dance… it’s a slinky, stretchy, part-graceful, part-primal, turn-your-brain-off (and your body ON) pleasure-hunting, permission-granting exploration.
It’s also not just movement… Kris brings decades of experience as a choreographer, coach, teacher trainer, healer, and therapeutic facilitator into every class, program, workshop, and interaction. Her work is a bridge between the often conflicting worlds of personal development, spirituality, sexuality, and the movement arts (including and especially the taboo dark feminine expressions of movement).
Here, light floods into the studio for morning yoga while kiddos play in the preschool yard across the parking lot.
Evenings are women-only. No kids in the building. Curtains contain our color-saturated, warm and breezy womb-like space and we let all parts of the wild woman, especially the untamed and erotic, come out to play!
Faux fur Sensory Mats, designed and manufactured by Kris are provided in class. Six-foot round Foundation Mats (for yoga and beyond) live beneath the Sensory Mats.
Cubbies, restrooms, and water fountains are back behind the velvet drapes.

A vignette of a cozy lobby corner. We share our lobby and restrooms with Creative Minds Preschool – which offers childcare during morning yoga classes. Score for the mamas! Drop-ins are $10.
As the story goes, Kris looked for a studio space that would work for Slow & Wild for years. One day in yoga, she met Christie, who told her her ass looked hot in those shorts. So of course Kris invited Christie to a pole class with her, and it just so happened that Christie had a dance studio space available in the same building as her play-based preschool. Boom, a collaboration was born!
Kris & Christie – collaborative business neighbors sharing spaces and supporting each other’s visions
Proudly women-owned business neighbors – Kris, owner of Slow & Wild, and Christie, owner of Creative Minds Preschool
Creative Minds Preschool – a separate business in the same building that offers $10 drop-in childcare to our mamas taking morning yoga. The preschool is open from 9-2:30 so the kiddos are out of the building for our much less tame evening classes.
